Resistance training (like the prowler) can be of significant value, not only for athletes, but also for all those interested in optimizing health and longevity. This and other similar types of training exercises can “prehabilitate” by preventing potential injuries through strengthening joints, muscles, tendons, bones, and ligaments.
With appropriate lifting and resistance training methods, it is possible to enhance the attributes associated with physical performance such as endurance, strength, power, speed.
Obviously intensity and weight load varies, but seriously, whether you’re a grannie, or a professional athlete… everyone benefits so get some of it in your life!
